POCKET DISPO: FIRST OFFICIAL “WORK TRIP”

This was one of my first “work trips,” even if the destination was close to home. I had a backpacking trip planned in Colorado with some friends, and I saw it as the perfect setting to put Pocket Dispo’s lens to the test. After reaching out to the brand and getting aligned on expectations, I brought the Pocket Dispo along to capture the weekend.

The goal was simple: highlight the portability of the lens and showcase the distinct, nostalgic look it brings to footage — especially in a setting as naturally stunning as the Colorado backcountry. What I love about Pocket Dispo is how easy it is to work with. It gave the shots a raw, textural feel that aligned beautifully with the mood of the trip.

While I’m not entirely sure how long the brand ran the content or how widely they used it, I do know they were thrilled with the video. For me, it was a great opportunity to blend lifestyle storytelling with product-focused visuals — and one of the first times I created something for a brand I genuinely admired before ever working with them!
