NOLMTS: Indie meets adrenaline

This one was a ride from start to finish. No Limits reached out after seeing one of my Numbskull edits blow up on TikTok, and we started brainstorming something fresh. They wanted energy. Edge. Something that hit hard but still felt creative — like it belonged both in the mountains and on the For You Page.

Things didn’t start smooth: the first product shipment got wrecked in transit. Once I finally had gear in hand, midterms kicked in, and the edit had to sit on the back burner. If I could change one thing about this project, it’d be the timeline — I wish I could’ve pushed it out faster. But in a way, the delay gave me time to think deeper and go harder on the visuals.

Before I ever hit record, I already had the sound locked. I came across a remix that blended “family Ties” by Baby Keem and “Sarah” by Alex G — an unexpected combo that totally nailed the feeling I wanted: gritty and aggressive, but also indie and offbeat. No Limits is for that kind of audience — people who want to push boundaries but still care about style. That mashup track let me speak to both ends of their demo at once.

When it came time to edit, I went all in on the effects. The intro features 3D camera tracking, glitch overlays, and stylized visual transitions — the most After Effects-heavy project I’ve done yet. I wanted it to feel like a cinematic drop-in: sharp, fast, and a little chaotic in the best way.

The video ended up resonating with my audience and sparked some great feedback on socials. No Limits was stoked with the final result, and it opened the door for more collaboration down the line. Honestly, this one pushed me technically and creatively — and those are always the best kinds of projects!
